The hotel is quite far from the central area and not very close to the subway station. The area is not pleasant but not too unsafe, I guess. This is actually a very old residential building that is transformed into a hotel. Our room was extremely small and the bathroom was of the size of a telephone booth. The worst thing of all was the incredible heat in July - our room never cooled down below 85 F or so. One of my worst experiences ever.

I'm from Brazil. I was traveling with my wife by car and find this hotel passing in front of it. It was a good experience. The subway was near. The room was very clean. I had a place to park my car. But what think it was the best was the kindness of the manager. He even helped me to carry my heavy luggage upstairs. It's very rare in Europe...
