My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights. My travel agent recommended it - but I don't understand why. Our room - with King size bed - had almost no storage space and nowhere to sit other than the bed or one upright chair squashed between a wall and what must be an apology for a side table. Almost nowhere to store cases and bags except beside the bed. Bathroom is long and narrow and requires contortionist to use it without opening the door to the main (bed) room. Breakfast is OK. Some staff quite friendly, others not so. Excuses re barman not turning up for work. Overall not impressed and certainly would look elsewhere next time.
Earlier this trip we stayed at Premier Inn Putney Bridge - MUCH better hotel which we would recommend. Similar price, lovely area, although a bit further from town.
Tiny twin room with two small single beds at right angles (as wouldn't fit side by side). Tiny wardrobe with maybe 6 hangers, no other storage space or place for suitcase. Paint peeling off walls because of damp.
Tiny shower room with edge of basin across entrance to shower. Water tepid. Black mould spots on ceiling
Very loud road noise all night as no double glazing.
The room was nothing like the pictures on the website. The bar area, although spacious, was not anything special.
Overall, nothing lived up to the hype on the web site which promised wonderful beds and bathrobes - nothing like that in our room.
Athough cheap for the area, the room was not worth the money.
A most uncomfortable night.
