Great Value in excellent location

We stayed at the Montana whilst on a recent trip to the Albert Hall. The location is excellent, opposite Gloucester Road tube with pubs and cafes nearby. It is particularly good for London museums and the Albert Hall and Hyde Park. The hotel itself was clean and rooms are advertised as available from 11.00 am although we had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived at 1.00pm as the maid was still in the room but not a problem as we popped into the Stanthorpe Arms pub for a quick pint. There was no tea tray but this was delivered as soon as we rang down to reception. The room was tidy and clean with air con and flat screen tv. Reception and breakfast service was efficient and overall represented good value for money. Would recomend staying here if visitng the Kensington area of London.

We went to London for a quick weekend getaway. We arrived on Saturday morning and checkout on Monday. This hotel is perfect for what we wanted. It was clean, small, and in a great location. Sure the elevator is small, and the bathroom is the same size, but if you want luxury, you would not be looking in this price range anyway! Book this hotel for a good kick off point, and if you only plan on sleeping there, you will love it!

My daughter and I just returned from our second visit to the Montana in two years. The rooms have been nicely recarpeted and repapered so all looks new and clean. We are very happy with the value and service we get from this hotel. We were given a room with a double and a twin bed and a spacious bathroom. The room was on the back side off the street so very quiet at night even with the windows open. The location can't be beat, Waitrose, Boots, tube station, Stanhope Arms, Starbucks, etc. all in a block. The staff were helpful, even sending the maintenance man up to repair a handle broken on one of our bags. We will certainly come here again .
