Car Parking Facilities
The hotel has a front and rear car park.
The front car park has space for approx 35 cars and the rear 15 cars. Car parking space is limited when the hotel is busy and cannot be guaranteed.
When the car parks are full, guests have the choice of parking on nearby streets or the main village car park at Blackheath station open 24hours and has council secure parking status. This is a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Local street parking is made up of single yellow lines, resident and business bays.

Village parking rules are as follows:-

Monday-Saturday – guests can park free from 7pm-9am
Weekend parking is free from Saturday 7pm-9am Monday
(this applies to single yellow, resident and business bays)
Off street parking is in Prince Charles Road and All Saints Drive (in front of the hotel) and South Row, which is to the right of the hotel by the Princess of Wales Pub and pond.

To get to the rear of the hotel, turn right when coming out of the front hotel car park drive 100 meters until you arrive at the Princess of Wales Pub, drive alongside the pub and take the first turning on the right (South Row). You will then arrive at the back of the hotel where there is a small car park. The rear entrance is not suitable access for wheelchairs as there are 8 steps to reception and the rear door entry system not accessible for wheelchair user.

The front entrance has 2 disabled car bays and a disabled ramp to enter the hotel.

The hotel offers an ideal base for visiting the towns of Woolwich, Charlton, Lewisham, Bromley, Eltham, Bermondsey, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Sidcup and Chislehurst.

The Clarendon Hotel is also convenient for visiting the famous National Heritage sites, and is a short distance across the green of Blackheath. The Meridian Restaurant overlooks our lovely gardens. The menu is European/English in its cuisine style. A Lounge is situated next to the restaurant for pre and after dinner drinks and smoking. The restaurant is non smoking. In keeping with a comfortable Georgian hotel, the Restaurant has been running successfully for many years, consequently our staff is highly experienced.

The location was very nice and the hotel was in a great locattion for the 02. Service given by security man assisted in ensuring i got a parking space, all staff especially the dining room staff were very obliging and friendly, coffee was so happy. . Read review

- Take the M25.
- Leave the M25 motorway at junction 27.
- Take the A12 to the Blackwall Tunnel.
- When you come through the Blackwall Tunnel, continue on this road (A102) until you see an exit signposted A2 Central London.
- This is Shooters Hill roundabout; take the 3rd exit towards Central London (A2).
- Continue on this road through 2 major traffic light junctions until you reach a roundabout on Blackheath; take the 1st exit onto Prince Charles Road - the hotel is at the end of this road.

By Car (from the South and East - M23 - A2/M2 - M20).
- Take the M25.
- Leave the M25 motorway at junction 2.
- Join the A2 towards Central London.
- Exit for A2 Central London onto Shooters Hill roundabout.
- Then, as above.

By Car (from Central London):
- Drive towards Westminster Bridge.
- Continue towards Elephant and Castle, then the New Kent Road followed by the Old Kent Road (A2).
- Continue until you reach Blackheath Hill; at the top of this hill you will reach a roundabout on Blackheath (approx 500 metres after the top of the hill). Take the 3rd exit which is Prince Charles Road, the hotel is at the end of this road.

By Public Transport (from London City Airport):
Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) 2 stops to Woolwich Arsenal and change to the main-line National Rail train service to Blackheath Village.

Good hotel, staff were very friendly.

Bath were small he sat on toilet was not much room bathroom was modern, the breakfast was dried up.

Based near central London in almost a rural village setting and as we were travellling to the O2 we found the staff very helpful in telling us about the travel links.

We liked the location ideal for O2 arena, helpful - booked me a taxi to the O2 arena and historical Maritime Museums Great Walking. In addition relaxed atmosphere, very central to London also good for walking to Blackheath Village and all the staff were friendly and approachable. The room was clean+tidy, buffet breakfast was excellent.
