We booked a double room here in June and on arrival were immediately upgraded to a Loch side apartment… no reason given. However the apartment was wonderful, clean and the views across the Loch were stunning. That im afraid is were the praise ends. Although yes the food was good… must quote another review here “ when we got it” The staff were all friendly enough but appeared to lack any leadership. Mistakes were made with orders for food, a drinks order was forgotten. We got a pot of coffee at breakfast but no milk. We ate in the restaurant only twice, as we couldn’t be bothered to wait so long for our food. This hotel must realise that they cannot rely on great views alone; they must put some effort into training their staff
