We have just returned from a 8 night stay at the Knightsbridge. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go to Harrods and other shops. In fact we didn't bother with Harrods, as it was too busy, having been before and just did a few trips to Harvey Nicks.
We stayed on the 2nd floor. My husband arrived after me, with his brother and his brother was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a beautiful room. Concierge recommended some great restaurants, booked theatre tickets and day trips for us! Little things, like welcome and turn down gifts made the stay very special.
We paid ?225.00 per night for a Standard Double room which we thought excellent value for the area(we looked around, and that was the best price). Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in London and I am extremely fussy! Perhaps not the most convenient if you want to do is see plays, as "theatreland" is a taxi ride but if you want to mix a little luxury with the odd trip to the shops then this is an absolute must!
