  • We were unsure of where to eat, not only did the concierge recommend a fantastic restaurant he made reservations and organised a taxi. We enjoyed our visit to the Halkin so much that we returned there in April of this year and my Fiance Proposed in room 406.. Read review

  • This expectation is surpassed as soon as you enter your room. From the personal (handwritten) greeting from the manager to the luxuriously apponted complete marble bathroom as you explore the room the attention to detail is breathtaking. The only reservation we had was the lack of personal tea and coffee making facility, however this was being picky, and if you are staying in a hotel of this class then why should you make a cuppa yourself?. • The staff are attentive without being overbearing and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. It's in a good central London location right by Buckingham Palace with easy access to the Tube and Hyde Park.. Read review

  • We needed a night out in London away from phones and the work waiting for us at home. Eating in a Michelin starred restaurant in Central London is never the cheap option yet with the room & a great breakfast "thrown in" we reckon it was a bargain! Very spacious and everything you would expect from a hotel of this quality - very, very comfortable beds, the best shower I've ever used in an English hotel, fantastic products in the bathroom and a bucketful of ice waiting in the in-room fridge to chill our champagne. We used the butler service to request champagne glasses and these were brought swiftly and without comment - even though we had bought our champagne in Harrods!. Read review

  • I was exhausted and while my room was as expected not immediately ready, the check in staff whisked away my luggage and immediately offered me tea while I waited. The bathroom has a huge and terrific tub, perfect for two, and the bed is divine. The provided hair dryer fizzled out while I was using it and a new one was brought to me within 5 minutes. The room, facing Halkin street, was quiet, stylish but not pretentious - just like the hotel itself.. Read review

And for me London is just not London If I am not peering out my window on an early rainy morning to watch the effervescent stodginess of stodgy little Belgravia. And opening those special heavy room doors for another day in giddy London.... Read entire review
