Cassisi Hotel - Milazzo, Italy 

We stayed at the Hotel Cassisi in Milazzo overnight before setting off for the Aeolian Islands. It has very stylish decor - bathrooms/bedrooms all very upmarket appeal. Our room overlooked the street outside and had a small Juliet balcony. There was no outside area to sit and relax, but for us for an overnight stay this was not an issue. The hotel recommended a restaurant close by for our dinner which had very similar decor and we had a good meal. The clientele appeared to be mostly staying on business and I think a good proportion of them were doing the same as us and catching the early morning ferry to the islands. The buffet breakfast was vast and excellent. The staff were very helpful and organised garage parking for our car which we wanted to leave in Milazzo whilst we were in Lipari. Highly recommended for a short stay. It is very close to the ferry terminal.

Ho dovuto soggiornare a milazzo per motivi di lavoro, girando su internet, tra le strutture che ho visto, il cassisi si è immediatamente distinto è così ho deciso di prenotare. Nel centro storico della cittadina, in un palazzotto del 700 si presenta molto bene, entrando sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dell' accoglienza sincera e premurosa, per non parlare della camera molto confortevole e accogliente, la prima colazione ricca di varietà e con una massiccia presenza di prodotti tipici, la crostata di marmellata con vera marmellata di casa non la mangiavo da anni. In questo momento mi trovo nella hall dell'albergo e da qui vi scrivo per dire che ho sentito doveroso fare questa recensione. Giro il mondo per lavoro da anni, ed in poch occasioni mi sono sentito qui come a casa....
