Stayed on a saturday night; room pleasant enough but at the front of the hotel and the noise from the clubs outside and taxis picking up clubbers was relentless ALL night and i mean all night. It didnt quiten down until 6.30am!! Screaming, shouting and constant taxi horns outside clubs and worthless double glazing all contributed to a sleepless night. Not much value for ?90 and there was no way wed pay ?11 each for a breakfast on top of that. Turn right out of the hotel , under the railway and theres a decent cafe! The customers in the Mal Maison opposite must have had the same experience at much greater expense. Will avoid this one in future

Stayed here for one night for my hen party. We were advised we couldnt check in until 2pm however arrived early at 1pm and got checked straight in without any hassle. We thought the hotel would not be up to much as per last few reviews and were pleasantly suprised. Facilites in room were brilliant Wifi and dvd player sky, dove handcream and lux shower gel provided in bathroom in canister on wall. Lovely fresh towels very clean bathroom. Room was very clean, spacious and modern could not fault at all. After nightclubbing we arrived back to hotel bar which was packed and drank until 06.30 when the bar closed to prepare the breakfast area etc. The only fault i would say is the price of the breakfast being 10.50 and having to pay extra for toast etc some of us went to hogshead cheap and cheerful just accross the road and also macdonads instead though so didnt affect me. Would defo recommend this to a friend is right in town centre close to everything ideal for shopping.
