Express by Holiday Inn Baden-Baden - Baden-Baden, Germany 

We used our Priority Miles (5k) to book a room there for one night. Got for a King non-smoking room that ended up being two twin beds. Nothing else available even though we checked in at 3pm. It is a newer hotel but the rooms were pathetically small. In fact, the bathroom door doubled as the door for the toilet. There was limited parking under the bldg for 10 euros a night. Worst of all, the air conditioner didn't work and temp that night was warm enough that a fan would have been a good substitute. Opening the windows just let mosquitoes in the room. Maintenance came up to our room and said, "Yep, it's broken. Sorry no fans available either." Appalling for a Holiday Inn. We stay at holiday inn because of the water service in the room for tea or coffee but the cups were not sanitary. There were left over finger prints on the cups. Called the front and they brought up clean cups with extra tea, coffee and sugar and creamer. Very nice about it. Breakfast was the cold continental kind with the only hot item being coffee. Works fine if that's enough for you. Overall, it was okay, but expected some free parking after suffering with that stuffy room. Nothing was offered so we had to pay parking and tax for a room with no air circulation. I guess sometimes you get what you pay (or not pay) for.
