The Kosmos is unbeatable for its combination of low price and superb location-- right across the street from the Bach's fabled St. Thomas Church and the rest of the inner city. I'm about to pay my third visit there in a single room costing only EU35. Each room is uniquely decorated in a particular theme, and all are clean and comfortable. I suggest seeing this part of germany before it becomes too touristy.
