Splendid view from our GBP65,00 bedroom. This guest house is more like an hotel with its licenced bar and its huge and beautiful seating room. First class service and Sharon and David are very friendly. No doubt, the best value for money guest house we stayed in during our seven days tour of South West England. A big merci from Bordeaux

Just come back from a wonderful 2 days in Ilfracombe. Stayed at the Collingdale Hotel. Sharon welcomed us and showed us round the hotel and to our room. The room itself was very comfortable and tidy with a few nice extras such as a 'ladies box' for any essentials that may have been forgotten. Our room was at the front of the hotel (effectively on the main road) however the traffic never caused a problem. Sharon and Daryl were very friendly and helpful with plenty of local knowledge and advice. Overall, would highly recommend the Collingdale, especially if you like breakfast. This was quite simply the best breakfast we have every experienced. All the food is sourced locally and prepared beautifully by Daryl (and Sharon probably). We will definitely stay there again if / when we return to Ilfracombe.
