Drumossie Hotel - Inverness, United Kingdom 

I have just had a marvellous Business stay at the Drumossie.All of the staff without exception were welcoming,friendly and helpful.The hotel itself is stylish smart and clean. My dining experience was excellent.Wonderful fresh local produce and witty helpful staff. 10/10. I shall be back soon.Well done.

Although we didn't stay at the Drumossie we recently dined there for a special occasion. The food was excellent and the staff attentive, all as we'd expect from a top notch hotel such as this. The disappointment was the restaurant itself, it's like a cross between a museum and a morge. It's dark and dingy, with dark wallpaper, heavy old fasioned dark curtains and stuffy old pictures with heavy gold frames on the walls. The evening we visited the sun was shinning outside which just exagerated our dreary surroundings. The rest of the hotel is clean, bright and modern, we've attended functions at the Drumossie before and they've been of exceptional standard, so why is the restaurant so awful. It's like somehting out of the 1960's!!!!
