This place is incredibly good value for money- we even gave them a bit more, we thought it was so good.
Breakfast was excellent. Perfectly cooked, good quality food, not the usual supermarket stuff.
Owners are friendly and there when you want them, but aren't hovering over you all the time, as can happen in some B&Bs.
Room was spotless, warm, and had a television and video. Fire precautions were very conspicuous. Within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Far, far better than a hotel of double the price.

The Sherwood Hotel proved to be an excellent choice for myself, my husband and two friends. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was truly scrumptious with plenty to choose from, be it a full English breakfast ,cereal, fruit or toast, or, of, course the whole lot!!! The warm welcome we had on our arrival and the friendliness of Sue and Austin made our stay most enjoyable.
