We only stayed for one night as we booked thru Thorpe Park for an overnight break. We got there early and they checked us straight in. The check in lady was really helpful when we asked about various things. There were also chocs on the counter!!! The room was spotless apart from dust under the TV and the toiletries were nice. They even had a pillow menu in case you wanted a special type of pillow!!! It said there was Sky 1 on the TV which we never found. No free biccies with the tea/coffee making facilities either but we didn't mind too much as we'd bought a bumper size toblerone with us HAHAHA We didn't have dinner at the hotel but we did have the breakfast which was very tasty and plentiful. The breakfast staff didn't show us to a table tho so it all felt a little disorganised. Also there was a dirty spoon left at the table even tho it was supposed to have been cleared. The swimming pool was nice and we tried out the sauna and steam room. All clean and the guy on the front desk was helpful.

We've stayed here a number of times as it's near my family. We always stay on a weekend and the Dinner Rate Deal (two nights for two people including breakfast both days and a 3-course dinner one night) is fantastic value for money. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and the staff are always helpful. I know it's not in a "touristy" area, but if you're looking for somewhere to stay around Guildford, I'd highly recommend it.
