"Cannot beat the location"

Stayed at the Buchanan few weeks ago. Little wary at first, as usually stay in big hotels and this is a very small hotel. Parked at a multi storey minutes walk away. Good value parking as given a discount due to staying at Buchanan. Hotel such a friendly place. Felt like a little 'family business' and made to feel very much at home. Literally, 2 minutes to shopping centres which was what I was there for!! Partner there for conference at Exhibition centre and again no problem with transport to and fro. Breakfast great and dinner menu extremely good value, altho we did not have time to eat due to conference dinners etc. Great value hotel. Well worth a visit.

Great Hotel for people on a budget

Stayed at the Buchanan Hotel last Saturday(10th May). Hotel in fantastic location 2 mins from train station and bang in the centre of Glasgow ideal for shopping and going out at night. The reception staff were really friendly and welcoming and rooms were basic but clean. I really dont know what people are expecting when they put bad reviews about this hotel on but really for ?45 b&b (single room) you cant find fault especially considering the location of hotel. Will definately be going back.

Great location & stay

Great location smack bang in the centre of the city. Clean smart bedroom, plenty hot water, brill breakfast and staff were really nice. Plan to return later in the year and will use this hotel.
