"good value, good location"Posted: Wed, Dec 31 1969Value:
3Euro hostel Glasgow is not bad AT ALL, considering you're only paying 12 quid a night to stay there! It's a massive place, right near the river, not far from Central Station. In all, the location is good in terms of being near Glasgow City Centre, however, there is a lot of construction around that area and we were woken up around 8am by banging etc. Also, the room we stayed in was like a 12-bed one and they really crammed all of us girls in there; but oh well I mean it's a hostel, what do you expect...I guess the 'best' hostels are the ones that don't bunk the beds and have TVs in the rooms, but I've only seen that in Australia. So, overall, Euro hostel was good value for money and served its purpose as a good place to crash after a night out in Glasgow (go to the Garage on a Tuesday student night and you won't remember that you're staying in a relatively ----- place when you return).
