Just got back from a w/end stay here & I have to say it was one of the BEST Hotel breaks we have enjoyed for a long time !! The facilities are bettered only by the 1-class service we recieved from all! ( especially Brian the consierge and ALL the bar and waiting staff ) SUPERB !! Give yourself a quality break here ! It's well woth it! (written march 07)

This hotel doesn't look as spectacular as the Hilton across the road from it, but it is really nice inside. The beadroom was clean, modern, well furnished and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and spacious and plenty of hot water at any time. We stayed 1 night for a Christmas shopping trip and it was worth it. We ate is the restraunt, which has an AA star rating, and it certainly deserves it - the food was to die for - yes it was a little more expensive than we would normally go for, but it was a treat and was worth it. It has an indoor pool, but we didn't have the time to use it - but it looked lovely. I would certainly stay here again and at a Menzies Hotel.

I have just had my second stay at the Menzies and once again it was wonderfull. I was given an upgrade to the Loft Liberty Suite when I arrived and what a fantastic room it is! I travel to Glasgow a few times a year on business and I will be staying at the Menzies everytime (I wonder if I get the upgrade every time) This hotel is fantastic - I could not find a single problem with it
