Ok for the price, but nothing to rave aboutPosted: Wed, May 07 2008Location:

4We stayed here for 2 nights and took advantage of booking online and paying up-front as it was a cheaper rate - came to just under ?60 per night.
The room was absolutely tiny - opening the wardrobe doors meant that entrance to the (tiny, but clean and modern) bathroom was impossible! But the room was ok, and we weren't spending much time in there. It was nicely decorated, huge flat screen TV, free drinks for the first night (nice touch), powerful shower.
We did have a noise problem on the second night - sounded like something in the water pipes - a noisy, vibrating kind of rattle woke me up at least 3 times, and I was wearing ear plugs! Apart from that, our stay was quite good. Nothing amazing, but for the price it was fine. Really close to Sauciehall Street, if you like that kind of thing, and a short walk to the Glasgow School of Art.
Staff helpful, pastries/fruit provided for brekkie in the very small residents' lounge. Difficult to rave about it, but difficult to find much fault with it. If you don't expect a huge room, you'll be fine!
