What Travellers Like

When we arrived at the hotel the guy who checked us in was not very friendly and when we got to the bedroom there was a sign to say it was non smoking. Contacted reception to say that we had booked smoking room and was told that the hotel was 100% non smoking but that they would try to accommodate our request by "booking us out" to another hotel at no extra cost - received a phone call a couple of minutes later to say that the night manager did not agree to this and we would lose our money if we booked into another hotel.. Really nice hotel, great central location within walking distance of train station and shops. Spa and Pool were lovely and staff were very helpful. Really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay there again.. Read review

Location was great and our room was clean and spacious.

Beds were missing wheels and therefore mattresses were on a slope.

The position of the hotel.Also the secure car parking.The helpfulness of the reception staff in obtaining a fridge for the room as we had medical prescriptions that had to be kept in the fridge.

Usually every thing is perfect for us in the hotel but this time the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to its ususal standard.

The location was easy to find, all aspects of our stay were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the room was perfectly nice and breakfast were quite good.
