What Travellers Like

  • It is a budget hotel in the middle of Glasgow (but on a rather quiet street), the bedrooms are all ensuite and we found the beds themselves very comfortable. For a bit extra, you can have either a continental or cooked breakfast. Last but not least, the staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous.. Read review

  • I appreciated a girl at the reception checking me in at noon rather than the advertised 3 pm. They assist you with maps, information and vending machines. Location is in the center of Glasgow, at walking distance from Buchanan bus station, you can reach the river/st enoch shopping mall with a 20 min walking, not very good if you want to stay close to the river Clyde. There is a very close distance even the Cowcaddens underground station and other buses. The room is basic and clean, bathroom has got showers, there is also a desk, chair and TV on request. I like the fact that you have also the necessary to make tea and coffee in your room. You cannot open the window but I have noticed this is not a peculiarity of the travelodge chain. There are good sized common areas such as the breakfast area and the bar.. Read review

  • Sure, the room is on the small side - but I wasn't planning on holding mad parties in the room. This Travelodge is very central, walking distance of main shopping district, museums and the West End, and most importantly is clean, employs helpful friendly staff and is value for money. I would recommend here if you want value for money, with little frills in a central location.. Read review
