Just off Grand Place the location is excellent, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Decor is classic, not the likes of the ones who look for a real hotel boutique experience. Atmosphere is a bit formal and you can feel overwhelmed with the cherry velvets and obscure wooden colours of the room furniture. Perfect for a short city break and if you like hotels in the good, old style

Generally everything was great. The only down side for us was a lot of noise from the street through the night (on one night only), but we were there for the jazz festival, so maybe to be expected and not the fault of the hotel. The room was lovely if a teensy bit small, the bathroom was very clean, the service was fine and altogether there was a relaxed but opulent feel to the place. The breakfasts are to die for! As others have said, the location is excellent.
