Drumnadrochit Hotel details: The Drumnadrochit Hotel is a family run hotel offering a warm, friendly, comfortable and relaxing stay in Loch Ness.

It is housed within the world-famous Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition Centre, which gives you the chance to visit the fantastic multimedia 5-star exhibition that is narrated into 14 different languages.

There is a variety of shops in the complex including the Nessie shop and the Whisky shop and all things Scottish with a huge variety of products to remind you of your time with us.

Our newly refurbished Loch Ness Bistro features the freshest local cuisine and there is regular Scottish entertainment and guaranteed 'good crack' with fellow guests and staff in the Loch Ness Bar. Our evening dining offers traditional bar meals and an a la carte menu served between the hours of 18:00 and 21:30.

Last night we tried the hotel resturant, well it's advertised as a resturant but is signed inside as a bistro, should have told us a lot. The menu was extreamly basic and I would consider it as a bar menu not a resturant, over priced and poor. Starters were minimal and poor Main course were cold, vegatables were either not cooked(carotts) or cold. Dessert was very minimal and of suspect quality A very bad experience We will not be recomending friends use this establishment

Having already stayed in this hotel previously and always had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Just thought it was worth mentioning that on our last stay (15/12/07) I was delighted to find that the restaurant which had always served a tasty & wholesome pub-grub style menu, now serves an exciting new menu featuring an array of dishes that would not be out of place at a 5 Star restaurant. The presentation was superb and the Chicken with Haggis Moose was 1st class. Also the Sticky Toffee Pudding was “to die for” – all homemade as I was informed! In addition the staff should all get a mention, as they were all extremely helpful and also friendly. Very enjoyable stay - John Rushbrook & Lauren Copley
