Lugo Rock Hotel - Falmouth, United Kingdom 

We have just returned from a six nignt stay at this lovely hotel. It is always a gamble when booking over the internet as pictures often deceive but this lived up to its images. We were welcomed with a tray of tea in the lovely lounge as we had had a very long journey. We could not fault this hotel and its staff. It was very clean, the room was an excellent size with two easy chairs to relax in with plenty of wardrobe space, lots of hangers and a large chest of drawers.There was also lots of little extras .The staff were very good with one member in particular, I'm sure she will know who she is as she seems to be there 24/7 doing breakfasts then cleaning rooms and making beds, she was very attentive to peoples needs, she was always looking for the next job to do, a godsend to any employer. The breakfasts were excellent, we could not fault them, also for evening meals this hotel is only a short walk from Falmouth centre where there is lots of choice of restaurants and pubs whatever your budget. So thanks to everyone at Lugo Rock for making our stay comfortable and memorable, we will definately recommend you and hopefully return ourselves one day!

Stayed at Lugo Rock for one night in March. We were pleasantly surprised with the owner setting the place up well. The ensuites were a bit basic, but now less than most UK guesthouse style places. The rooms themselves were well appointed and the staff were really helpful on local attractions and restaurants. The location was also quite nice, just a short walk down the hill to the beach
