Radisson Sas Edinburgh Hotel was quite stylish inside, with a minimalist feel to it. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly - we got access to our room straight away even though we arrived early. The room itself was clean, comfortable and quite spacious. Overall a really good experience at the Radisson and would stay there again if in Edinburgh. Kioni & Max, Ljubljana

I'm a bit of an expert on this hotel, haiving stayed there about ten times or more. I used to love it - and indeed, what's not to like: Great location, fantastic views, nice rooms etc. But recently, the hotel has obviously decided to cut staff costs drastically, and as a result guests are now faced by people with serious language and/or attitude problems, slackness, unfriendliness and a general no can do attitude.

I have been in Edinburgh before and have admired the Radisson while passing it. It is hard not to pass by it, given that it has the best location of any hotel, right on The Royal Mile. I must say I was looking forward to my stay and I was not disappointed. The lobby is nice and inviting, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was fabulous with comfortable bed, nice decor and I was very impressed by the sound-proof windows and the heavy curtains which kept out the light. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Edinburgh Castle is just a short walk up the road. It's an easy walk to many other sites as well. There is also a cab stand right outside the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were a great size. The staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea were provided in room and the toiletries were very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.
