agree with other reviewers, very close to railway station. The room is clean and stylish; breakfast is also good. Definitely will stay again if in Bergamo next time.

Stayed here July 2007 while using Bergamo as base to travel around north Italy for a few days (Lake Como, Verona, Milan, Turin). Had previously stayed at the Piedmont (see my review) so decided needed another hotel for a longer stay. The location is great,100 metres from the station and on routes to get to the Citta Alta, and 1 minute from a supermarket for all those supplies for day trips. The hotel is excellent - clean, bright and with interesting decor. The rooms are large, clean and airy. The TV has all the channels needed by those people who seem to want these things. The bathroom was spacious and included all the freebies expected at an establishment of this category. The staff were courteous and efficient, if not over friendly. The breakfasts are good, including a range of hot (limited) and cold buffet style choices. One slight quibble here - the breakfast staff seemed to be overworked so it was a case of having to track them down when required. Overall this does appear to be more geared to the business traveller than the tourist but that is probably more of a reflection of Bergamo as a destination. One word of warning. If possible try and book ahead for restaurants in the Citta Alta on Saturdays. We couldn't as we arrived late on and had a real job finding somewhere not fully booked (our 5th or 6th attempt).
