Okay
Rather disappointing 2nd stay Posted: Sat, Jan 12 2008

Second visit to this property this year. Would I book again - No unlikely.
The dining room chairs have been removed and replaced with dirty white puffets. They look very poor.
The rug was full of stains - we had to roll it up- could not bare to keep looking at all the stains.
The sofa full of stains.
Beds in 2nd room still not replaced - very uncomfortable - they are passed it. Even the cleaner agreed.
Yes the place is very clean - but in need of a bit of money spent on it to keep it to a high standard. Unfortunately this place is on the way down.
Shame the high standards have not been kept up.
A truly excellent stay - we arrived stressed and harried after a nightmare journey through the floods. Greg was a welcoming host and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The room was absolutely stunning and the decoration stylish and the whole experience was one of total luxury.
The breakfast was great with a choice of different foods available, not your standard cooked breakfast but a great alternative and the porridge really set you up for the day!
I would definitely stay at St Andrews again and have recommended it to all my friends and family
