Completely Fabulous!

My wife and I had the most fantastic time at the Christopher North. It's a historic, listed building in a very swish part of town - quiet, yet very close to George Street and the Castle. Breakfast (complimentary) was delicious. The room was beautifully elegant (although it was high up in the house - two flights of stairs was a great trade=off for THAT view. Wow.) Staff were curteous and very helpful. Altogether, a real find. we're most ertainly coming back soon.

I stayed in the hotel number 10 which seems to be part of the christopher hotel, is this two hotels or one i'm very confused? i was very disappointed with most about everything, the room was tiny with nothing you expect from a 5 or even 4 star hotel like a mini bar or a bathrobe or even a bath. To top all this it was a lot more expensive then other hotels in edinburgh. Please avoid at all costs.

Best, friendliest service of any hotel I've ever stayed in

I cannot emphasise enough how thoroughly happy I was with the staff in this place - they just could not be better. Every little thing was not a problem at all, and I needed A LOT of information. Great location in New Town of Edinburgh, and located on a terribly pretty street with hardly any through traffic. Hotel itself was sublime. I had a garden suite, and it was absolutely huge, with a view onto the very pretty garden behind. Complaints? I couldn't get into my room with an early (8 am) arrival. But check-out is 11 am, so that's a minor complaint. I am going to stay here again next time I'm in town.
