We have just returned from our 4 nights stay from Oct 28 2006 at harbour apartments (the element), leith, edinburgh managed by scotish apartment (6, Queen street). It was a wonderful experience. The apartment was quite clean, well equipped & comfy, the staff were extremely warm, respnsive & helpful, the sea view was amazing with a peaceful and quiet surrounding, the free shutte service to the centre was a big plus and the complimentary wireless internet was another positive. A telephone or intercom in the room can add further value for foreign guests who dont have a local mobile. Otherwise everything was just perfect. We have been around quite alot and with experience of staying in more than 57 places in asia, africa, america, uk & europe, australia and middle east we must say that this place was a great value for the price paid. The management and staff should keep up the good job. judging from our experience we would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting edinburgh. We wish we had stayed longer.... Khan & Rahman. I was a little suspicious of this place because it was so reasonable - ?50 for one night in June but it was brilliant ! Two huge bedrooms, a lovely en-suite bathroom in one of the rooms and a huge living and kitchen area. Obviously they are still working on construction around the area but that was no trouble at all - only thing I would suggest would be if it's your first visit try to make sure you get there before the reception closes as the building is a little daunting to access on your first visit but soon got the hang of it !

Our apartment was stunning, it was lovely and moden with beautiful views just like the pic's. Close for shopping and the sports center down the road was great. staff were great, we decided to stay another night and they were very helpful and sorted that out for us. We thought it was excellent value for money and would definitely stay there again.
