The Holyrood Palace, Parliament, Dynamic Earth and Arthur’s Seat are some top destinations that are right on the aparthotel’s doorstep. Edinburgh Castle, The Museum of Scotland, The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society and Camera Obscura are a 20 minute stroll away.
For dining out there are a host of excellent restaurants to choose from – some examples are Wedgwood the Restaurant, David Bann and Mai Thai, all within a 5 minute walk. Being located in the Old Town area means you are spoilt for choice for a great selection of true Scottish bars.

By Car
From the M8 and the West:
- Follow signs for the city centre.
- From Princes Street, turn right into Lothian Road.
- Take the first left along Kings Stables, which brings you out at the Grassmarket. At the end of the road, turn left, and follow the road under 2 road bridges.
- You will come to a busy crossroad at St Mary Street. Go straight across into Holyrood Road.
- Just after the new university halls of residence, turn into a small close on the left-hand side called Hammermans Entry.
- Follow the road around, and this will bring you to our car park gates.
From the East End of Princes Street:
- Take the road up North Bridge at the junction of the bridge and the Royal Mile.
- Turn left and head down toward The Palace of Holyrood House.
- You will arrive at a roundabout and should turn right along Horse Wynd, and right again onto Holyrood Road.
- Take the second opening on your right-hand side into Hammerman's Entry.
