Terrible!

This hotel is extremely shabby and in desperate need of refurbishment. It was dirty and smelly. The room had so many things wrong with it including broken toilet seat, tiles falling off the shower wall, broken furniture in room, windows not opening, paint peeling off the walls and ceiling - you get the picture! Would strongly recommend going elsewhere than put yourself through a very depressing stay at this hotel!

DREADFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! The web site shows a well appointed room with a four poster bed. However the reality is very different. Very small dingy room with no view at the end of a maze of corridors. Room smelt stale and musty!!!!!. Single bed with cheap pillows and no mattress protector. Very old, tatty and dated decor. Could hear everything being said in the adjacent room and when they were walking around in the next room my floor boards were creaking!! How weird is that!! Avoid this hotel as there are far better places to stay than here!!!! My colleague had pigeons fly in her room when she left the window open to let in some fresh air. Also, wall paper was peeling off the ceiling and the tiles in the shower room were mank. As we were attending a conference we only had to stay 1 night but if it had been for a longer period of time we would have asked the organisers to move us to another hotel. On a plus side breakfast was good !
