We stayed at this hotel the weekend before xmas, the hotel is very easy to find, and has its own car park which cost 8 pounds for a 24 hours. The receptionist was very helpful, and it hotel was massive, the room was nice, could of done with a little updating, the best thing about the whole hotel was the bed it was amazing!! The breakfast was excellent, and the location was good to.

Good location and nice atmosphere. Gym facilities were top rate and staff was friendly and helpful.

At first, I was not happy with the room that I was given. The room was supposed to have two double beds, but actually had two twin beds. I asked to be moved, and the staff immediately put me in a room with a king sized bed. They were very nice about it. On another note, I'm not really sure why this hotel was considered 5-star. I've stayed in hotels that were 4-star, and they were much nicer and less expensive.

Hotel is about ten minutes walk from the Royal mile. Good number of restaurants and grocery stores around the hotel. Room was not what I would expect for a five star hotel. Staff took a long time to answer calls to the front desk.
