Berg - Stuttgart, Germany 

De camino a Stuttgart en coche vimos los rótulos para el Hotel Berg, y fuimos a verlo. Una recepcionista muy amable y servicial nos mostró una habitación doble impecablemente limpia. Costaba 69 euros la noche incluyendo el desayuno. El aparcamiento seguro costaba cinco euros extra, aunque es gratis si elijes aparcar en la calle. El hotel está ubicado en un vecindario tranquilo cerca del centro, un paseo a pie de 25 minutos, pero también queda cerca de la estación U-bahn. Es útil si deseas visitar el Museo de la Mercedes Benz, un paseo a pie agradable de 30 minutos por el río. El único inconveniente fue la falta de un ascensor. Supongo que deberíamos haber llevado menos equipaje. Y la habitación no era enorme, pero tenía un armario, una mesa, una televisión, un radio-reloj, y el baño tenía una ducha con buena presión. Obviamente lo habían renovado recientemente, y todo estaba en muy buenas condiciones. El desayuno bufet estuvo excelente. Habían quesos fríos, carnes, cereales, pan, huevos, fruta, yogur, jugos, etc. Habían tentempiés y bebidas a pagar con el sistema de honor (consumes lo que quieras y ya pagarás después) en el vestíbulo. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar aquí.

Driving into Stuttgart we saw the signs for the Hotel Berg and went to check it out. Very friendly and helpful receptionist showed us a spotlessly clean double room - price 69 euros a night including breakfast. Secure parking was an extra 5 euros, although it's free if you choose to park on the street. It's situated in a quiet neighbourhood close to the city centre (a 25minute walk) but also close to the U bahn station. Handy for visiting the Mercedes Benz Museum (a pleasant 30 minute stroll along the river). The only drawback was the lack of an elevator (guess we should have travelled lighter). The room wasn't huge, but had a wardrobe, table, tv, clock/radio and the bathroom had a shower with good water pressure! It had obviously been recently renovated and everything was in very good condition. The buffet breakfast was excellent - cold cheeses, meats, cereals, bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurts, juices etc. There was an honour system snacks/drinks available in the foyer. Would definitely stay here again.
