Heath Cottage Hotel Limited - Dewsbury, United Kingdom 

The hotel is comfortable, albeit a little tired. We attended a wedding, and after chatting with other guests, we had all encoutered the same problems with noisy bathroom extractor fans and taps which were very hard to turn on and off again. After the first night's stay, my husband and I placed our used towels on the bathroom floor. Now, I appreciate this wasn't The Hilton, but I don't use my towels more than twice at home, and we certainly don't share them! Our dirty towels were put back on the rails.....YUK ! Now we were re-using AND sharing! We had to ask for fresh towels at reception. Apparently, the owners are hoping to sell out to a housing development, so there's no surprise they are not bothered about keeping up standards.

My husband and I have stayed at Heath Cottage Hotel several times. We also got married at the hotel in August 2003. The building and surrounding grounds are excellent. The staff are so welcoming and friendly you just want to keep going back! I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for accomodation or even planning to get married in this area.
