Location
The Craigellachie Hotel is set in the heart of the whisky and castle trails. Within a 30 minute drive of the hotel you can visit many of the world famous distilleries, including Macallan, Glenfiddich, Aberlour, Glenlivet, Cardhu, Glenfarclas, Glen Grant and many more.Ballindalloch Castle is nearby, where there is also a golf course.
The Speyside Way, which was the old railway line, is a walk that runs from Spey Bay to Aviemore passing right in front of the hotel and taking in Aberlour, the next village along.
We are also only around a 40-minute drive from the coast, where you'll find beautiful small fishing villages and superb beaches on which to stroll.

We have 3 different room types in the hotel.Standard rooms are en suite, have either twin or double beds (request on booking) and face to the back of the hotel.
Master rooms are slightly larger, en suite, have either twin or double beds (request on booking) and most face the front of the hotel. They all have 2 comfy chairs to relax in.
Mini suites are slightly larger than the master rooms, en suite and all face the front of the hotel. They have a sofa and comfy chair area within the bedroom.
