Probably the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. Their staff were extremely rude, it took almost 30 minutes to check in and the same to check out. Also if you book with them directly it is much more expensive than booking with an agency online. I asked them if they could match the price of the agency online and they told me that if I didn't like the price I could go somewhere else. Unbelievable! The place felt cold and damp, the rooms were dirty, I found hairs and nailtips in the bathroom and there were not enough blankets (two beds in the room but just one blanket). The remote control of the television wasn't working properly I called reception and after rining for almost 15 minutes someone picked it up and said there was nothing they could do because they didn't have any more batteries, (no even offering to go and get some more). The beds were squeaquy, and everytime my mother turned round in her bed during the night, I would wake up because the noise was so loud. The rooms were poorly lit, making it impossible to read and the deco was horrible, the room looked as if it had been furnished with pretentious flat packed furniture.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of October. On arrival, we were directed to a very shabby room. There room was very dusty and dirty. The bathroom in particular, was covered in mildew. To make matters worse, our heating went off around 8pm on the first evening of our stay. When I enquired at reception I was told that the heating could not be turned on as it was on a timer. Instead, I was offered a small and ineffective electric heater. The following morning I complained at reception that I had had no heating for 15 hours. The manageress said that she would address the issue. By the second evening of my stay, my heating still had not been turned on. When I enquired at reception I was informed that the heating was broken and that there was no prospect of it being repaired. I was offered several other alternative rooms, none of which had any heating! When I checked out, the staff attempted to charge me full price. When I complained, they offered me a 20% discount (I had heating for 6 hours of a 48 hour stay!!). Eventually, I accepted a 50% discount. An appalling lack of customer service!
