Where do I begin? VACATION FROM HELL- old and dirty facility, very small pool-closes at 6 in the afternoon they set up the buffet next to it . Seems like they serve the same items every day with a few variations to the menu. - and yes, they put the food out too early, partially covered with clear plastic wrap but bees and flies still wander into the food. you have to go get changed before taking 2 steps to get your lunch -although it is poolside and it is noon, you are not allowed to eat in your bathing suit. They serve mostly cold cuts and cold salads in the buffet and uncooked veggies that you recognize the contents of the in the following menu as a hot dish , cooked together from the leftovers of the previous meal. as one of the main dishes(like boiled veggies have become stew fillers= roast chicken becomes chicken stew in tomato sauce) with leftover contents of the previous meal. The busboys who clear up your dishes were polite and nice. that was it! Desserts were acceptable in quality but were not protected from pests. Many skinny, dirty cats roaming among tables for scraps. As for the cleanliness , the indoor porch furniture and tables had not been cleaned for a long time - facility overall was quite shabby and dirty . I had to fight with the uncooperative staff at the reception desk to have my bedsheets changed, or get clean towels to use in the room. The beach towels were nowhere to be found- even when i asked at the reception desk they told me they were out of towels. most doors were broken , i could barely lock my room entrance door- shower was tiny even for one person and water was everywhere after i was done. The hotelvweb site showed nice pictures of a lot of stuff that were not there. They must have been very old photos when the hotel was new. the bathroom door was warped and broken did not close. This place was supposed to be a 4 star?- Unfortunately that was a lie- it did not qualify for a single star . The hamam and the indoor pool were not clean and obviously not used by anyone. the exercise room was mostly empty, had a couple of old broken equipment and smelled awful- unventilated and not air conditioned. even the windows were filthy looking out. The wireless internet access was not available in the rooms. no safe in the room either. The tiny fridge was not stocked with anything- totally empty. I wanted to store my laptop in the hotel safe when going out once, they did not have a safe large enough to put a laptop in it- it was a good thing i has a safety cable with me to anchor it to the balcony wall. What they called entertainment was a few noisy and obnoxious teenagers clowning around to music and pulling hotel guests into stupid competitions or retarded silliness. nothing of any quality- blasting weird music that no one can dance to- or listen to. During the day, the same entertainment group usually takes up the tiny swimming pool with their splashing and annoying behaviour. One of them even came up and interrupted a backgammon game we were trying to play i had to tell them to please leave and let us alone to play our game- they were acting as if they owned the place with no respect for anyone's privacy. I had to sit in the dirty, noisy, poorly lit and non-air conditioned lobby to get on line and check my e-mail. the lobby floors were washed once during my stay and in mid day so you could not go up to your room until they dried. Very cheap- plastic chairs and tables in the restaurant area. it looks like the place is booked for weddings in the summer and they probably serve the leftovers for a few days to the hotel guests. stairs to the seaside were steep and dangerous- , no hand rails on the seaside in some sections I definitely would not recommend bringing small children there- The platform you ended up on when you climbed down was uneven - almost dangerous to walk on, covered with plastic green carpet like floor material, ripped and torn in most areas., rusty broken ladder into the sea. No matter how careful I was trying to stay clean in this dirty place, I came down first with food poisoning like the rest of the hotel guests, followed by an infection on my leg that was diagnosed at the hospital as ORSA- the antibiotic resistant deadly virus that could have killed me. I returned from my vacation in a wheelchair and was in the hospital for 2.5 weeks connected to life support. STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY-STAY AWAY.

What ever you do, please do not waste your money at this hotel. Me and my wife were told that this was a 4* hotel..... NO WHERE NEAR IT. It was winter when we went - ok you can't blame the weather, but you expect the heating to work, right????? There was a door to the balcony which had a gap all the way around the door so the draft was getting in. The heating system was a joke. It was blowing out luke warm air when placed on 30 degrees. My wife had become like from this experience and was off work for 3 weeks after we came back. We changed rooms 3 times in 2 days before we left the hotel and went to another hotel an hour away. The only person who could speak English was a man at reception who was only there during the day. Bathrooms were small, dingy and had mould growing in the shower. The food was disgusting - There were stray cats roming around in the restaurant area. Staff were unhelpful and some of them were rude.
