Best Western Queen Hotel - Chester, United Kingdom 

This hotel is exactly what it says in the brochures.A 4 star hotel that is much better than most in this catagory.It has an oppulent victorian feel to it yet is warm,inviting and run in a friendly but extremely professional manner.The buffet breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff very efficient ,particularly the maitre d'.The bedroom was very comfortable and the whole visit was a real delight.My wife and I will definitely be returning!

I booked a superior room for valentines weekend with the missus and we were given the Queen Alexandra room on the second floor. It was very spacious and looked out over the front of the hotel, however the bed wasn't amazing (2 single mattresses that kept sliding apart) and the bathroom could've done with some modernisation. These are minor gripes however and the general decor and location of the hotel more than made up for this. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chester and just across the road from the train station. Parking is to the rear of the hotel, however it is chargeable. Breakfast was nice, with a decent selection of hot and cold food, and we were seated immediately on both mornings. All in all we had a great time here and would return in the future.
