Fairmount Hotel - Bournemouth, United Kingdom     

We (9 of us in total - 2 families of 4 and 5) travelled to Bournemouth for one night only and couldn't have found a better location, two minutes from the beach and shops -although there is a steep hill on the way back! One of the two family rooms we had booked was ready on arrival at 9.45am and we were able to leave all our bags. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I rarely sleep away from home yet I slept like a log! Breakfast was served 8.30 until 9.30 and was definitely worth getting up for. Our flight wasn't until 10.20pm the following evening yet we didn't even have to ask if we could keep a room on to allow us to store our bags - we were told the hotel would work around us keeping on one of the rooms. This was a fantastic bonus considering we had 5 children in our party. Service and hospitality such as this is rare these days and has to be applauded. The only slight downside was the decor in the rooms which could do with updating eg the shower screen in one room was broken however there is clearly a refurbishment programme underway and I wouldn't let this put anyone off.

Enjoyed our stay at the Fairmount very much. Good location and represents excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and the hosts are relaxed and welcoming.
