Wow. Bournehall hotel is an excellent family-friendly hotel in a perfect location. The first time we stayed at Bournehall was back in 2002, and we have been returning since. There are lots of reasons for us as a family returning. Everyone is just so friendly-they make you feel at home. It's one of those atmosphere's where you feel comfortable, relaxed and happy. There's no fault with the bedrooms, bar, etc... Nothing is ever dirty.The service is superb. There's no need for a swimming pool, because the beach is literally just down the road. It is surrounded by great resturants, an oceanarium, Imax Cinema etc. Therefore the location could not be any better. If this great hotel didn't beat our expectations, then why would we return.Trust me... We LOVED it!!

I strongly disagree with the previous review! A friend & I stayed at the Bourne Hall Hotel on Saturday 10th May for 1 night, as we were going to a concert at the BIC. The hotel manager checked us in and was very friendly and welcoming (quite a character actually, in the nicest possible sense!). The room & bathroom were very clean & spacious. The bedroom decor was a little dated but who cares when you are only sleeping there, the main thing is that it was clean. The hotel had free parking & was less than a minute's walk to the BIC which was great for what we needed. The buffet breakfast was also very nice. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again when visiting Bournemouth.
