Breakfast Lovely buffet style breakfast. Fried Eggs, Scrambled Eggs, Fried Tomatoes, Beans (too runny though), Hash Browns, Bacon, Sausage. Selection of cereals, yoghurts, dried and fresh fruit. Staff Were all very polite. Lift The world's most confusing lift. :-) Room The beds were comfy, sheets lovely, crisp and clean. Bathroom was lovely, nice powerful shower. What you would expect from a hotel I think. The chest of drawers needed replacing, the drawers were coming off their runners. Room Service We got a bag of washing done for £5 which was washed, ironed and back in our room before we could blink. Great. Swimming Pool Was small but did the job. There is a jacuzzi and sauna. Parking The hotel has a carpark Location 5 mins walk to the beach and the town centre.

I was looking for a couple of days rest and relaxation on my own to get away from everything after my mum passed away a couple of months ago. I picked the Trouville Hotel randomly really as the pictures looked quite nice and the price was reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there and parked my car easily in the car park, checked in with ease at the friendly reception and retreated to my single room to collapse after a 5 hour hot car journey. The room was a little dark and dingy and looked out onto the fire escape so no nice view but the bathroom had obviously been refurbished recently and was lovely and clean and bright. The hotel staff were very courteous and the service was brilliant although they were all a little standoffish and got the impression that they had been told not to be too friendly with the guests. The only thing that alarmed me slightly was that somebody came into my room in the middle of the night and switched on the light but as soon as I came to, they had realised I was in there and beat a hasty retreat. I did mention it to reception and was told it was probably the night porter checking something!!! Apart from that, I had a lovely relaxing stay, the hotel is very close to the pier and the prom and there is a lovely decking area outside to sit and sip your drinks. Would definately stay here again.
