Our stay was spoil by the arrogant manager, two dogs and two cats roaming freely around the hotel, if you want to watch the television there is a ?5 deposit for the remote control, and if you want a bath mat you have to ask at the reception desk- this is if you are lucky enough to find anyone there. Don't expect menu cards as the manager doesnt believe in them because "they cost too much to print." From the bar into the dining room there is a very dangerous slope which caught most people unwares. We hope we never have to return there!

Stayed in a single room recently. Was really shocked at the poor standard for the price ?45 a night. The room was tiny, drab and the bed was falling apart. The 'ensuite' was little more than a cupboard with a sliding door. What was worse, though, was the 'shower'. I should say that I'm not someone that stays in nice hotels (I've stayed in basic hostels all over the world), I don't mind roughing it as long as Im not being ripped off. However, for the price you are paying this shower was a joke - it was literally little more than a drip. It was impossible to shower adequately - luckily I had relatives staying in a (very nice I might add) double room down the corridor and could use their shower. I tried to complain on several occasions but could find no one to complain to (staff seemed to disappear when needed). I'm sure this hotel is fine if you are lucky enough to get a different room but they should be ashamed to accomodate guests in such poor facilities as the room I stayed in.
