We have stayed at the Priory on a few occasions and have found it absolutely faultless. The bedrooms are beautiful with crisp white cotton sheets big white fluffy towels molten brown products and to stay in one of the boathouse suites is complete luxury, the food is of a exceptionally high standard and it is a delight to dine in the abbots cellar. The staff are friendly and professional and some have been there many years which remain a reflection on the owners. Breakfast is taken in the garden room and is an absolute delight, after your evening meal retire to the drawing room which has the most comfy chairs to relax in and on a summers evening there is the most beautiful garden to stroll round which goes down to the waters edge while the sunsets over the purbeck hills. This hotel has real class in a stunning area well worth paying that little extra for

If you are looking for good food, good service (David in particular)and a quiet get away from it all hotel this is the one. We stayed in the boat house in the suite upstairs, the river frome flows quietly pass and the sound of the birds is very relaxing. Upon arriving we drove through the electric gates into the wisteria clad wonderfully stocked private gardens it is a real gem of a find. All the staff were tip top thank you for a great stay.
