Hotel Montana - Geneva, Switzerland 

Words are not enough to describe our stay at this hotel, first the location, amazing, very central, close to bus and train lines, minutes walk to main attractions in Geneva including the beautiful lake which is very close, the personnel was so accomodating, we came after hours of flight and although it was early for our check in, they let us have the room right away, always helping giving us directions and advice on how to get to places, suggesting restaurants etc. we will definitely stay there again, Hotel is very cozy, clean, the room has good space , we definitely a must, next to the hotel there are supermarkets where juice etc can be bought and taken to the hotel to avoid spending so much on snacks, definitely this hotel is a must, if coming by plane take the train in the airport and the last stop at cornavin you just walk couple of blocks to the hotel, breakfast is very good

I stayed for 2 nights in Hotel Montana in April 2007 travelling on Business and I was quite satisfied with my stay, since in Geneva the prices of hotels are high and these hotels are not of a good quality. Very central, near train station, tram and shopping mall MANOR. Spacious room and clean enough. The bathroom was clean except for the curtain in the bath which was kind of smelly. Breakfast was typical but ok. Staying in the 1st floor overlooking an inner yard - quiet. My mini bar wasn't working. So I had to give some food shopping in the breakfast room refrigerator. My TV remote control had no batteries but I fixed it with the reception. The room was so hot at that time but I suppose it was due to the very hot (unusual for Geneve) weather at that time.
