North Grange Hotel - B&B - Blackpool, United Kingdom 3 star hotel

Address: 238 Queens Promenade, Bispham, Blackpool, FY2 9HA
North Grange Hotel - B&B details:  The Hotel is situated on the sea front along Blackpool's famous Promenade over looking the Irish sea. We are a quiet hotel in a quiet area called Bispham, two miles north of the tower and a mile away from Cleveleys, adjacent to the start of the illuminations. Just across the road is Bispham tram station and round the corner on Red Bank road are local shops, Banks, and plenty of restaurants and cafe's catering for most tastes in food and drink. And after eating out you could take a long walk along the prom and take in some of the spectacular sun sets at the end of the day.

The hotel has just been fully refurbished and upgraded to what we consider is a premier standard, and comprises of 15 bedrooms (singles, doubles, & twin rooms) all with en suite facilities. There is a sun lounge to sit and relax in, a lounge bar with evening bar menu, and two dining rooms where we serve a choice of Continental or full English breakfast. The two dining rooms are decorated in a French cafe style and can be used for small receptions or business functions. There is a lift to all floors except the top floor. We have a non-smoking policy throughout the hotel.

I stayed here for one night. I needed a room big enough for me, my son and my daughter in a travel cot. "No problem", I was informed, "you can have the family room". I got a single room, and a double room, joined together via a batroom. All this for £35! The rooms were decorated very well and everything was spotless. Although I think we were perhaps the only guests on a dank rainy January weekend, the breakfast table was groaning with goodies in the morning. Trying to feed the kids, and the post-Xmas flab, meant that I missed the cooked breakfast, but if the cold buffet was anything to go by, I'm sure it would have been great. Give the large number of hotels in Blackpool, it's very hard to find sowmewhere reliable, but I'd have no hesitation at all in recommending the North Grange.
