Carousel Hotel - Blackpool, United Kingdom     

Arrived early on a wet Saturday, went for a walk then arrived at the Carousel Hotel. Hotel situated in a small crescent with open sea views. At the reception desk we were greated by Carmel, who should be commended for her great customer service skills. We were booked in very quickly & advised of the dinner reservations procedure. We found our room (302) very easily. The room itself was a quite small double with sea views but suited our needs. The decor was very pleasant and spotlessly clean, with a fully tiled bathroom with power shower. A warm welcome again at breakfast, in the pleasant dining room. Choices of Cereals with toppings, continental (croissants, pastries etc). Cooked breakfast (nice sausages) etc all on a self serv basis. Once small gripe (as in all he other reviews), there was a wedding on downstairs & even though we were on the 3rd floor this was quite noisy late into the night. Other than that i would recommend this hotel for its great customer service & cleanliness.

Could not fault this hotel, a definate recommendation to other Blackpool visitors. Staff couldn't have been nicer, very accomodating, even let you have drinks to take to your hotel when you return from a night out at 3am, brilliant!! Rooms also excellent, fantastic power showers and recently refurbished bathrooms, rooms very warm even without heating and cleaned daily. 3 Course dinner has to be the best ever, very well presented and I couldn't wait to the next night to sample the delicious food. Breakfast was also good, great variety, pastries, fried food, cereals, tomato, orange juice, tea coffee, yoghurts, herbal teas the list is endless. Very close to Pleasure Beach and a good stroll to central pier there is also a tram/bus stop opposite the hotel. Would return to this hotel next time I'm in Blackpool, 5 stars all round!!!
