Situated opposite the hotel, Blackpool’s South Pier was opened in 1893 and today houses an amusement complex with fairground rides.Just a short walk away from the hotel is the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This popular amusement park has a mixture of traditional wooden rides, modern steel roller-coasters, small family rides, highly-advanced thrill rides and generations-old rides still in original working order.
