De Pary's Hotel - Bedford, United Kingdom 

We chose this hotel because the hotel's website seemed to indicate that it could provide all that we needed. We booked 3 twin rooms at £40 per room (6 lads staying for Saturday night). So at £20 per head I wasn't expecting a 4* stay. However the entire building is very tired, and some of the rooms are very small. We had to retrieve the staff (the lady serving in the bar was also the receptionist) in order to check-in I was lucky in that I had the largest room with an average shower, however one of the rooms had a bath with rubber tap adapters for use as a shower (they wouldn't stay on). The heating was on full blast, and couldn't be adjusted, so I slept with the windows open (facing onto a fire-escape - a definite security risk), but some of the other rooms were facing the road, and so the noise made opening the window impractical. Car parking was ...... cramped, & dare I say interesting - certainly not secure. We didn't eat in the hotel on Saturday Night, so I can't comment on the quality of the retaurant food or service but the Breakfast and associated services was very slow, tepid, and served with a grimace. Well not so much served as thrown at you. I believe that the young lady serving breakfast would rather have been anywhere else. Now for the price, bearing in mind that the only time we spent in the building was to sleep on saturday night and breakfast on Sunday it was manageable, but if I'd had to stay longer, I'd have moved to another hotel. If the staff had been friendlier then that would have made the world of difference. Was it value for money, I guess it was as the costs were split. Would I stay again - under the same circumstances - possibly. Would I take my wife - No, I would have to be a little more selective.

bueno bueno, no se ni por donde empezar, una verdadera vergüenza, sucio ... pero no exagero, mi cubrecama estaba lleno de goterones de pintura etc... el baño un horror, el servicio fua, inimaginable, bueno, es que haciendolo a posta no se puede ser peor ...... y mira que el sitio no es feo, pero segun cruzas la puerta se te caen las pistolas al suelo, lleno mierda macho, los camareros de lo peor, el desayuno fua una hora, la cocinera una empanada ... la ducha en una habitacion, era una goma que se enchufaba al grifo, y solo daba para ducharse de rodillas mientras alguien sujetaba la goma para que no se desenchufase, creo que el ejemplo es ilustrativo ..... .. eramos 13 y todos lo flipamos .... el tema del idioma ya se sabe, pero aun asi, ni la mas minima intencion de hacerse entender ni de amabilidad por ninguna parte, un horror, ni el peor camping en afganistan, firmado, un pobre representante de la marea azul que fue a ver a alonso a silverstone, y vaya cagada con el hotel, NO VAYAIS NI A TIROS, en serio, todo lo que se diga es poco, patetico, hasta el estanque de agua podre para las carpas daba asco, un saludo
