I'm puzzled why the Florida Park only has a 3 star rating. It looks good outside and inside, has a large outdoor pool and jaccuzi plus an indoor pool with another jaccuzi. It is spotlessly clean, well maintained, the staff are brilliant. The rooms are no larger than most but are well designed and we never felt cramped. They are well tiled with nice fixtures. There were no faults with the plumbing, electrical and curtain fittings and no dangerous electrical wiring poking out like you find in most hotels. One thing that deserves a special mention is the food. It was excellent with plenty of choice, innovative touches and very tasty. It was warm/hot too, which I think is quite a feat with buffet meals. My compliments to the chef(s). There is local entertainment and dancing at night. I've been holidaying abroad for thirty years. I've stayed in excellent hotels and some that were dumps, and I can honestly say I've not stayed in one better than this. It should be given at least a 4 star. I hope the management keep up the standards. The beaches were lovely and not coated with rows of sunbeds, and you can catch the train to Calella, Lorette or Barcelona.
