I don't know what all the moaning minnies are on about. We read the reviews of the Danebury Hotel in Andover and were dreading going there. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely (very comfy bed) and clean. We would definitely stay there again.
P.S The breakfast was yummy!

My friends had booked this hotel for us (we were a party of 6 guests) and after seeing some of the reports we did to be honest expect the worst! But and its a big BUT, I have to say it was one of the best I have stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot of Hotels over the years. The rooms (I did see all 3) were all excellent sizes, tea and coffee facilities, irons, and ironing boards, big windows with lovely views and fans in all the rooms. They were all furnished well and the bathrooms were all very good, plenty of clean towels and linen on the beds and plenty of soaps etc. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful and the breakfast on Sunday morning was both plentiful and good and the stafff that served us were helpful and polite at all times. With regard to the nightclub, to be honest I have stayed at hotels that have been a lot noiser and I guess when you stay on a High Street in any town it is NOT going to be quiet, I would certainly stay there again, and in fact I look forward to my next trip to Andover when I will indeed book into the Danebury.
